Sen. Udende is currently serving as a first-term senator representing Benue North-East Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 1oth Senate. He also sevred in the 9th National Assembly as a member representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Constituency in the House of Representatives under the (PDP) Peoples Democratic Party (2015-2011-2019-2023).
