Born on 3rd July 1956 from Okwopko LGA of Benue state, He holds an MSc. in Public Administration from the University of Kano.  The Lawmaker started his political career when he was the former Local Government Area Chairman of Okwopko (1998).  He lost the governorship elections in 2011 and was appointed in the same year as the Minister of Interior by the former President, Goodluck Jonathan.  In 2019, Sen. Moro was elected under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the senator representing Benue South in the 9th National Assembly. He will be serving his second term (2023-2027). He is also currently the Pro vice chancellor and chairman governing council of the University of Agriculture, Benue State.
