Sen is currently serving his second-term as a Senator representing Rivers South-East Senatorial District under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 10th Assembly. In 2019, he contested for a seat at the upper chamber and won the election, he servedas the Vice Chairman senate committee on Establishment and Public Service (2019-2023).
