Hon. Kabiru Rurum currently serves as a second-term member representating Rano/Bunkure/Kibiya Federal Constituency in the 10th Assembly under the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). He had served in the 9th Assembly and was a former speaker (2018-2019) Kano State House.
